For Every Step is a student-founded, volunteer-powered organization dedicated to supporting individuals with movement disorders — Parkinson’s Disease, Dystonia, Essential Tremor, Huntington’s Disease — while also recognizing the often-overlooked mental health challenges these conditions may bring. Through community engagement, accessible programs, and education, we aim to reduce isolation, promote resilience, and support the full spectrum of lived experiences — both physical, and emotional.

To walk alongside those affected by movement disorders by providing inclusive support for both the body and mind, fostering empowerment, understanding, and healing for every step of the journey.

Movement Buddies is a one-month peer support program that pairs individuals living with Parkinson’s or other movement disorders for weekly connection, encouragement, and gentle motivation. Together, buddies follow a guided calendar of optional activities—from light movement prompts to gratitude reflections and meaningful conversations.
